Elton John has completed his new album The Diving Board, which he calls in a recent interview “the most exciting solo record I’ve made in a long, long time.”
The legendary pianist tells Rolling Stone that this new LP will once again pay homage to the early part of his career, as most of the album will feature basic piano-bass-drums instrumentation, comparing the set-up to Elton’s live record 11-17-70.
