I discovered your station, The Cove, via iTunes. I very much enjoy the love ballad mix on the station. Many of your selections from the 60s, 70s, and even 80s have been dropped by Adult Contemporary stations in my neck of the woods. I’m glad to see your station still plays them.

While at work, and, then, later at home, I listen to Internet music almost constantly as I work on my PC’s. Needless to say that I breeze through channel after channel finding music that I can stand to hour after hour.

The Cove does that very nicely. I enjoy the selections played hour after hour.

For the most part anyway. I can understand a station stopping for a commercial every once in a while. You have to pay your bills before they become Williams.

Like a previous poster I found you station via iTunes. There are hundreds of stations that play the music I like to listen to. And finding a station that doesn’t upset my stomach is a rare find.

But what keeps me from listening more often is that some (censored) keeps telling listeners what station we’re listening to. Once Upon a Time I was a Paratrooper stationed in Northern Italy. Occasionally some trooper would rent a TV and we’d watch Italian TV and not just what the Armed Forces Radio had to offer. On one of the stations, RAI, would show a quick, maybe 3 seconds long, Identification message after every commercial. Not after a commercial break, after Each and Every commercial there was a quick message run that told viewers you were watching RAI.

The Cove almost seems to be doing the same thing. After a couple of songs some Yankee Fan would interrupt some divine music and tell everybody who we were listening to.

I really, really enjoy listening to your station over the internet, but listening to that bum talk while I’m waiting for some of the best music around makes my hope the next time he visits Fenway he gets hit in his mouth be a smokin’ hot line drive from A Rod.

I love the “Cove” but its not in tune right now (4:55 PM) and the bandwidth on high only makes it a tiny bit better. Pls fix, Tx

  5. Randy Raymond says:

    I informed Radio.com:
    ————————
This music from this station is playing distorted. I think the input volume is up to high. Only one of your stations that I have noticed that does this. I like this station though.
    ————————
They suggested that I contact you.

    1. Thanks Randy… We’re looking into it.

  6. Bill says:

I very much enjoy The Cove but I have a question. Is there any chance that WODS might consider going back to its’ roots by adding HD3 with a 50’a/60’s playlist? I miss those songs and no one plays them. HD radio opens up so many varied possibilities of songs played while retaining the “main” FM station. Thanks!!

    1. Billy D says:

I agree with this Bill. However, I hear they already have an HD3 station for Christian Rock. But an HD4 station for 50’s and 60’s music would be great, or if not, just put the 50’s and early 60’s music back on WODS in case listeners can’t get online to the HD stations. They’ve already got a good amount of 1964-1969 music though I’d be nice to hear more music from that decade, thank you. I love The Cove and regular 103.3 WODS

  10. Mike says:

I really enjoyed listening to the station when I went to bed and, but a few months ago it stopped working on my android phone, you see I plug my phone into a Cambridge Soundworks radio, but it says it’s restricted by the broadcaster, I guess my question is why are you restricting access on the tunein app for the android phone?

    1. Matt Dolloff says:

Mike, all Radio.com stations are only available to listen on the Radio.com app. Access is restricted on TuneIn Radio and any other third-party app, so you will need to use the Radio.com app to listen to WODS, WZLX, Mix 104.1 or 98.5 the Sports Hub. Hope this clears up any confusion and apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you.

  11. Kay Johnson says:

Enjoy listening daily to your station, even though I live in California. Please keep up the good work!

    1. Matt Dolloff says:

Wow, listening from 3,000 miles away! Love it
