Super Bowl Commercials 2012: Sneak Preview & Spoilers [VIDEO]

Companies have started leaking their Super Bowl commercials early. Here are the commercials that are already out there, and rumors about who will be in some of the ads:

Volkswagen’s 2011 commercial with the little kid Darth Vader was the most watched ad from last year’s Super Bowl. This year, they’ll be back with another Star Wars-related ad. Here’s the teaser they’ve released called “The Dark Side”, featuring dogs barking “The Imperial March”:

Chevrolet has already started airing one of its Super Bowl ad called, “Happy Grad”, that was made by a contest winner:

GoDaddy has another sexual-tease-that-really-isn’t-anything ad (yawn). This one features Danica Patrick, Jillian Michaels and a nude model being body-painted:

Doritos will air the winner of their “Crash the Super Bowl” contest, featuring homemade Doritos ads. Look for lots of cute animals and human injuries (which is a general rule for all Super Bowl ads). Here’s one of the finalists:

Century 21‘s ad will feature Donald Trump, Deion Sanders and Apolo Ohno in conjunction with their new tagline, “Smarter. Bolder. Faster.” (We assume that Donald Trump is “smarter”, Deion is “bolder,” and Apolo is the “faster.” Sounds lame, right?)

Other celebrities that will pop up in Super Bowl ads:

Troy Aikman (Bridgestone), David Beckham (H&M), Mark Cuban (appearing with a dog named Mr. Quigly for Sketchers’ GoRun shoes), Motley Crue (Kia), Pussycat Dolls, Joan Rivers, Andy Samberg, John Stamos (Dannon’s Greek Yogurt), X-Factor Winner Melanie Amaro for her Super Bowl ad prize and more.

Other advertisers you can expect to see:

2nd Story Software, Honda’s CR-V, Acura, Bud, Bud Light, new Bud beverage Bud Platinum, Audi, Best Buy, CareerBuilder, Cars.com, Chrysler, Coca-Cola, E-Trade (more  of that baby), Chevy (Volt, Camaro, and Sonic),  History Channel, Hyundai, Mars/M&Ms, GI Joe: Retaliation, Pepsi Max, “Act of Valor” (a movie about Navy Seals), Samsung, Teleflora, Toyota’s Camry,  Lexus’ GS, “Battleship” (the movie based on the game), and Disney’s “John Carter” (an outer space action movie).
