Elton John Forced to Cancel Las Vegas Shows Due to Food Poisoning

The “Rocket Man” singer was forced to cancel two shows over the weekend at Caesars Palace after falling victim to food poisoning.

TMZ learned that Sir Elton’s Friday and Saturday night shows got the axe when he became ill sometime on Friday. No word yet on what food actually caused the poisoning.

A representative in Elton’s camp told TMZ that he is “much better now” and will be all systems go for his Friday show in Guadalajara, Mexico.

John will return to Caesars Palace for his Million Dollar Piano show on April 13th.

    Total BS…. I was there. They pulled peole out of their seats. Is Elton saying that Caesars poisoned him? I don’t know who should be more upset, the people who paid a premium for their tickets and planned a vacation around seeing him, or Caesars, because of his claims.

    Oh, I want the money I dropped gambling, prior to the shows scheduled start back.
