A photo of Whitney Houston lying in a casket at her funeral ceremony has gone viral after being published on the front cover of the National Enquirer magazine, causing the Houston family to relive the heartbreak all over again.

The headline grabbing cover reads “Whitney: The Last Photo! Buried in jewelry worth $500,000. Wore her favorite purple dress” and “Had gold slippers on her feet” with the photo included.

The family says they have no idea how the security looking over Whitney’s casket was broken. However, they do know that based on the picture it was taken from inside the funeral home but they have no idea who could’ve taken it.

Whitney’s mother Cissy has taken the leaked photo the hardest, having her “heart broken all over again.”

Caroline Whigham, the owner of the funeral home in Newark, denies any involvement in the leaked photo.

She said:

“We did not take that photo. We did not sell the photo. We would never do something like that.”

The Houston family, despite their outrage, will not investigate the matter any further and hopes to put it all behind them.

Who do YOU think leaked the photo?
