According to Springsteen, the album Wrecking Ball is a metaphor for all that has gone on in America the past few years.

It would take a full week to explain the ills that are plaguing this country right now, which could be why the late night funnyman has devoted an entire week to The Boss and his new album.

Bruce will perform tonight and Friday with musical guests [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kenny Chesney[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Elvis Costello[/lastfm] mixed in between (Wednesday will feature a mystery guest).

The full schedule:

Feb 27 – Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band
Feb 28 – Kenny Chesney - ”I’m On Fire”
Feb 29 – TBA
