Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards recapped his weekend in a video message to fans designed to update them on his recent endeavors.

One obvious, glaring omission from his update was the status of the Stones’ 50th Anniversary plans…

The video was shot Sunday (2/26) inside a private jet as Keef was coming home from Boston.

He attended a ceremony honoring the one and only Chuck Berry, or as he puts it “Shakespeare with a guitar around his neck.”

The event was PEN New England’s Song Lyrics of Literary Excellence Award and it took place at the JFK Library.

Richards also talked about performing with Eric Clapton and others at a memorial concert in New York City just days prior.

The one thing I was looking for was an update on the status of the Stones’ 50th Anniversary. A week earlier, bassist Ronnie Wood said the group is “on the verge” of touring but Keith neither confirmed nor denied that notion.

Oh well. I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough.
