Wrecking Ball paints a picture of America that is not so bright.
A proud patriot, Springsteen touches on all the political issues that have occurred in this country the past few years including the Wall Street bailouts, the Tea Party movement, and Occupy Wall Street.
Apparently, that message is being heard loud and clear overseas because the album is doing very well over there.
According to the Official Charts Company, Springsteen landed his 9th UK #1 album with sales of Wrecking Ball at 74,000 copies in its first week.
The numbers haven’t come out yet for US sales, but they will later this week.
How will it fare in the US? Will you buy Wrecking Ball?
