Although they won’t be touring to celebrate their 50th anniversary, The Rolling Stones plan to release a documentary in the fall that will cover their entire career.

In case you haven’t heard the news, The Rolling Stones will NOT be touring in 2012 to mark their 50th anniversary. It’s looking more like 2013 – at the earliest.
This decision, surprisingly, has nothing to do with the strained relationship between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
It has EVERYTHING to do with Keith Richards and his health, unfortunately it’s just not up to par.
To make up for no tour in 2012, the band is releasing a photographic autobiography and a career-spanning documentary just months apart.
Keith Richards told Rolling Stone magazine:
“80 percent of the footage has never been seen before, which amazes me. I didn’t know there was that much around.”
Look for this documentary to come out sometime in September.
