Paul McCartney gets by with a little help from his friends — or at least he did last night (March 29).

At his Royal Albert Hall charity show for the Teenager Cancer Trust in London, Macca recruited a whole slow of famous rocker buddies to get him through the Beatles classic “Get Back,” reports NME. The Who frontman Roger Daltrey, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood and Paul Weller (of The Jam fame) jammed with McCartney on the song, originally off Let It Be. Watch below:

It was Daltrey’s second night in a row at the Royal Albert Hall, with the Who frontman having played his own benefit for the Teenage Cancer Trust on Wednesday (March 28) in which Wood, Weller and Steve Winwood guested, reports Ultimate Classic Rock. This is the second time in several months’ time that Ronnie Wood has performed with McCartney, showing up for the ex-Beatle’s O2 Arena show in London last December.

Macca is no stranger to all-star collaborations in recent months: At the 2012 Grammy Awards in February, he performed an Abbey Road medley alongside Bruce Springsteen, Dave Grohl and Joe Walsh.

As for the rest of the rest of McCartney’s set last night, he honored — as he so often does — Jimi Hendrix with a “Foxy Lady” jam, and played a slew of Beatle favorites. The gig, which benefited the U.K. youth cancer charity, was set in a far more intimate venue than most McCartney plays these days. As Paul pointed out on his website, the show was the first time he’s played the Royal Albert Hall in 10 years, since the George Harrison tribute concert in 2002.

McCartney, who will hit South America next month for a string of dates, released his latest album of standards — “Kisses On the Bottom” — last month.
