The Eagles to Receive Honorary Doctorate from Berklee College of Music

Members of The Eagles will be presented with an honorary doctorate from Berklee College of Music President Roger Brown at their commencement ceremony on May 12th.

The ceremony will take place at the Agganis Arena at Boston University on May 12, 2012. The ceremony will NOT be made available to the public.

In addition to The Eagles, Alison Krauss and Mulatu Astatke will also be receiving the honor.

Other notable musicians to receive honorary doctorates from Berklee include Steven Tyler (2003), Billy Joel (1993), Aretha Franklin (2006), Sting (1994) and Phil Collins (1991).
