For those unfamiliar, the theremin is one of the earliest electronic musical instruments and it’s played by moving your hands and fingers in front of the device in order to produce notes. So naturally a cat would be a master at playing it, right?
With the way cats tend to reach out and wave around for things they want, putting a theremin in front of it is the perfect way to get them to somehow make their own music.
If played right the theremin sounds kind of like an electric violin, but of course with a cat manning the controls it just sounds like an awkward series of beeps and whines.
