Whitney Houston’s Cocaine Cover-Up Rumors Are False

Reports came out last week that claimed cocaine was removed from Whitney Houston’s hotel room before the police arrived to investigate. We’re learning now that these rumors are baseless.

TMZ reports that Whitney’s close friend Raffles van Exel is NOT under investigation by the Beverly Hills Police Department for concealing evidence that fateful afternoon, contrary to other articles.

Van Exel is “extremely relieved” by this, and he will appear at the Beverly Hills police station with his lawyer sometime soon to clear his name for good.

TMZ reiterates that nobody is being pursued for removing evidence from the hotel room because, in the BHPD’s original investigation, they DID find cocaine and that’s all the proof they need.

Houston would have turned 49 in August.
