Since launching their archival site several months ago, the Rolling Stones have released a handful of rare and unheard goodies to their loyal subjects. The latest is from their legendary U.S. Tour in 1975, titled L.A. Friday, which featured a (then) new guitarist by the name of Ronnie Wood and a ride on the back of a flatbed truck in New York City.

L.A. Friday, which was actually recorded on a Sunday (July 13, 1975) but mistitled by bootleggers, was the band’s final show of a five-night residency at the Los Angeles Forum.

Part of their legendary 1975 trek simply named Tour of the Americas ’75, the lineup for the show included Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Ronnie Wood, Bill Wyman, Ian Stewart, Billy Preston, Ollie E. Brown and Trevor Lawrence.

The Stones kick-started the tour by performing on a flatbed truck that drove down 5th Avenue in New York City’s Greenwich Village on May 1, 1975.

L.A. Friday is available for download from the Stones archival site for $7, and you can preview each of the 24 tracks there as well.
