It’s been a season of highs and lows for the hometown team (well, mostly lows). But after losing 5 straight games, things are starting to look up for the Red Sox as they’ve now won…wait for it…2 in a row!

To celebrate this joyous occasion, we bring to you the Red Sox Nation Song Of The Day!

The Beatles – “Getting Better”

Why this song? Well because, quite frankly, you’ve “got to admit it’s getting better.”

After all, anything is better than that disastrous game over the weekend where the Red Sox bullpen blew a 9-0 lead to, of all teams, the New York Yankees.

But last night was different.

Josh Beckett took the mound and pitched a solid outing, allowing the only 2 runs of the night in the 1st and the 5th inning. However it was the offense that really led the charge, scoring 11 runs in total. (Game Recap)

The ability of the Red Sox to stave off a Minnesota rally and not squander a humongous lead shows some sign of progress, which is why we’ve chosen “Getting Better” by the Beatles as the Red Sox Nation Song Of The Day!
