These guys love Boston. No, they really love Boston.

After performing 4 nights straight at the Orpheum Theatre last fall, The Allman Brothers Band has announced that they will return to the Hub for a two-night residency at the Bank of America Pavilion this summer.

They will be performing on back-to-back nights in August, the 7th and 8th.

Tickets go on sale Monday, May 7th at 10am and range from $35 to $95 in price.

Tickets can be ordered in advance at the Orpheum Theatre Box Office, online at, or by calling (800) 745 – 3000 (additional charges may apply).

The lineup consisting of Gregg Allman (vocals and keyboards), Butch Trucks (drums and tympani), Jaimoe (drums), Warren Haynes (vocals, lead and slide guitar), Derek Trucks (slide and lead guitar), Oteil Burbridge (bass), and Marc Quinones (congas and percussion) will rock Boston for what is shaping up to be two unforgettable evenings.

Boston Herald writer Jed Gottlieb said of Trucks and Haynes, “They’re the best one-two guitar punch in rock ‘n’ roll today. And they’re equal to the best ever.”
