“Don’t Pull Your Love (Out)” was Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds’ third single and first Top 40 hit, but it wasn’t originally written for them.

It was intended for the Grass Roots, who at the time were about to release another single, so it was given to Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds.

The Grass Roots regularly perform it in concert.
