Matt Dolloff, CBS Radio Boston

Let us help you honor the memory of legendary disco singer and hometown hero Donna Summer with videos of her final Boston performance. The Bank of America Pavilion paid host to Summer back in August of 2010.

The “Queen of Disco”  has passed away at the age of 63 after losing her battle with cancer. Her last major concert tour supported her final studio album, 2008’s Crayons, and her final single “To Paris With Love,” which she debuted at her concert at the Pavilion.

Of course, Summer wouldn’t let the fans in Boston leave the Pavilion without a heaping helping of hits. “Hot Stuff” was among the classics on the setlist.

Were you at Donna Summer’s final concert appearance in Boston? Share your memories of that show and any you have of her as a singer in the comments.
