The death of Donna Summer is paying off for one Las Vegas art gallery.

In 2003, Summer collaborated with The Jack Gallery to make four limited edition lithographs, all of which were designed by Summer. Each was personally signed by by her and cost $550.

Following the death of the 63-year-old singer on May 17, 2012, there has been a high demand for her art work again, resulting in prices exceeding $650, a $100 increase.

Summer’s most popular piece, The Winter Melody, has gone from $550 to $1,000 postmortem, although it is almost sold out.

The Jack Gallery is planning a memorial exhibit in September of Summer’s work.

A representative for the Las Vegas store said that “prices are determined by availability,” after being asked why there was a sudden price hike of the late singer’s work.

There are 750 lithographs in total.
