It’s summer time, so you know what that means at the Comcast Center in Mansfield: summer concert season is beginning to heat up! You can see some of the world’s biggest performers and best concerts at the Comcast Center during the summer and early fall, with the nice weather allowing us to don shorts and t-shirts and catch our favorite shows in the open air.

This summer, dozens of great artists are going through Mansfield for shows at the Comcast Center, and classic rock is well-represented with many bands joining forces for epic tours. Jimmy Buffett: June 23

Legendary “Margaritaville” performer Jimmy Buffett returns to the Comcast Center for another summer show on June 23 starting at 8PM. The Coral Reefer Band will join Buffett as an opening act, and perhaps for a collaborative performance on-stage together. Tickets are available now on Live Nation.


Chicago & The Doobie Brothers: Aug. 16

The Doobie Brothers (pictured above) join headliner Chicago for a summer tour covering both bands’ anthology of classic hits from the ’60s and ’70s. The show is scheduled to start at 7:30PM on August 16. Tickets are available via Live Nation.

Def Leppard: August 18

Def Leppard continue to play huge sold-out shows around the world, and this summer at the Comcast Center should be no different. The “Pour Some Sugar On Me” ’80s hit-makers come to Mansfield on August 18, along with Poison and Lita Ford. VIP packages are still available for the show, as well as tickets and premier parking.
